NORWAY SPRUCE
(Pinaceae Picea Abies)

The Norway Spruce is the most traditional Christmas tree. It is conical shaped and bushy with 12-24mm long shiny dark green needles.  It has the strong pine fragrance regularly associated with the festive season.  Needle retention is best when the tree is fresh, as they all are, when bought from Norfolk Christmas Trees.

NORDMANN FIR
(Abies Nordmanniana)

The Nordmann Fir has a symmetrical shape with strong regularly spaced branches. The needles are softer and less prickly so are kinder if you have children and pets. They have excellent needle retention, better suited to those of you who like to have your tree early.

POT GROWN TREES
The trees in pots that Norfolk Christmas Trees supply are grown in their pots and have not just been dug up and potted. Pot grown trees can be treated like a potted plant and may be transplanted into the garden (when soil conditions are suitable) or re-potted in a larger pot or tub after Christmas.
